Our Vale Barqueiros – Red 2015 Garrafeira (Limited Edition) wine was included on the list of award-winners at the 2019 edition of Grande Escolhas Vinhos & Sabores.
Over 100 awards were presented across the various categories: sparkling, white, rosé, red and fortified wines.
In each category, several wines were awarded prizes, but only one was awarded the Grand Prix title. Among the top winners were wines from the Bairrada, the Vinho Verde region, the Alentejo, the Douro and Madeira.
The selections were made by a panel of 60 judges, comprising journalists, sommeliers, shop owners and critics. More than 380 wines were tasted in a blind tasting. The participants tasted the wines and awarded scores. In the end, all the scores were collated to produce the final result.
